Today Masie graduated from preschool. I seriously can't believe she will be in kindergarten next year. I am in denial. Maybe I will change my mind and keep her at home with me so she won't grow up.
She was thrilled to get flowers and that Minnie Mouse graduate doll. We saw that at a store last week and she kept saying, "Mommy, remember that Minnie Mouse we saw? Wouldn't it be really neat if I got one when I graduated?" Um, hint much?

We are so proud of her. The teachers said something about each of the kids when they went to get their diploma. They said that Masie is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. And I have to agree. She is precious.

I am so thankful that all of her grandparents were able to be here for her special day. My parents drove in from CS and Jason's parents made a quick trip from Dallas. Afterward we went out to get some ice cream to celebrate her big day!

I could not be more happy with her teachers and this whole past year at school. She has learned so much. She is reading like a champ and adding so well. She has learned so many Bible stories, made so many fun crafts, and made so many wonderful friends. It has been a year to remember!
Well, Masie has talked about this day non-stop for the past month. I'm pretty sure all we'll hear from this point on is about her first day of kindergarten! I hope it does not disappoint!
*Oh, and I have to add that as soon as I saw her walking down that aisle in her cap and gown the tears began. I immediately grabbed my tissue. However, I am glad to say that it didn't last long and the tears stopped after just a few minutes!

Congrats Mas!!! Our girls are growing up. We can cry the first day of big school together in a few short months.
Congrats Masie!!!! I love what Jason said on FB earlier today. It was cute that Masie wanted to make sure her Daddy was going to look the part :) What a cute little girl!
Congratulations Masie! Caitlyn and I loved Ms Catherine and Ms Sue... I am so happy that Masie loved them too. WoodsEdge has a great preschool program and I would recommend them to anyone!
