We took the girls to the zoo last weekend, and it was a perfect day for being there. We missed the madness of the spring break crowd and the weather was amazing. Here's a little recap of our trip.

All Masie wanted to see were the lions, and she let us know it every 2 minutes.

I love how Presley is hiding behind Masie. That is definitely her personality.
We ended our zoo trip with a train ride around the park with some friends we kept running into, and then after that we headed to California Pizza Kitchen at Memorial City Mall to use a gift card. And the girls' favorite part of the day? Playing on the playground at the mall. The free playground. Go figure.

That sounds about right, the free playground verses a cool Zoo. I think I am just gonna save my money these days and give my children cardboard boxes for birthdays and Christmas... more imagination for them and they would probably like it better than an expensive toy. :O)

so cute! i see you blog about as much as I do :) I never even read them anymore!! I just posted a bunch of stuff recently so Craig can see the kiddos, since that's the easiest way for him to see pictures. It's nice to have a reason to get 'caught up' I had NO idea that Darby had those cute little forehead dimples. SO cute! We miss yall!
