Well, I'm back. A lot of you have asked why I closed my blog a couple of months ago. I have no idea why I did it, I just felt like making it private. But I still blogged. Feel free to read the posts!
And I'm sure a lot of you didn't even notice at all! :) Who cares where I've been?
Anyways, I decided to open it back up now, and I'm going to try to get back to this blogging stuff.
In huge news at our house, Darby started walking! Finally, after 15 months! She'd been able to walk for a couple of months, but she just didn't want to. She'd take 5 or 6 steps and then just sit down. But this afternoon out of the blue she decided that she wanted to walk, so she took off. She made laps around the house, laughing, tongue hanging out of her mouth, arms out to the side. It couldn't have been any cuter
Presley started swim lessons last week. She has been absolutely thrilled to start swimming. Today none of the other kids in her class showed up, so she got a private lesson. I was happy about that!
Masie started a tumbling class at a cheerleading place a few weeks ago, and she has loved it so much. Jason really hopes she's not a cheerleader like I was, and I think I'm starting to hope the same thing. It's so different from when I cheered way back in the day. So much more competitive and way more dangerous. But she loves her little class, practicing cartwheels and backbends. How harmful can that be? Time will tell if she follows in my footsteps or maybe does tennis like Jason.
We've started our fostering classes, and we're hoping to finish them all in March. Not only do I pray for our 3 daughters we have right now, but I also pray for the girl (girls?!) that God will place in our home in the future. The girls are definitely excited to have another sister, or two, and I pray for them so much. I pray for our family, too, that God will prepare all of us for the changes to come, and that we will display the love of Christ to a child who needs a family. We are excited to see what God has in store for us!
Well, thanks for catching up with us! More to come soon!
