Fun at the Beach!

A few weeks ago we went on a mini-vacation with my parents and my sister's family. We went to Galveston, and we had a great time! The only thing that was missing was my brother's family. Maybe next year we can all go.

It was Darby's first time at the beach, and I am kicking my self that I didn't get a picture of her there. However, in my defense, we were there for no more than 17 minutes. The girls didn't want to go in the first place. They really just wanted to go to the pool, but we made them go.

I think they had fun for maybe 8 minutes, and then they were over it. But don't they look cute?

I think it took us longer to load up the stroller with all our junk, walk down there, get all settled at the beach, pack our stuff back up, and walk back than the time we were actually there. And the hotel was on the beach. Figures.

we lasted 30 minutes before we went to the pool.

Even though the water was yucky and brown and they didn't enjoy the beach at all, we had a fabulous time. I can't wait to do it again!
