9 Months

I can't believe Darby is already 9 months old! And even more than that, I can't believe I'm blogging!

Look at that sweet face!

Our little Dibby is getting bigger and cuter every day. Here are a few things about our little baby girl:

--She is rarely called Darby around these parts. It's most often Dibby Dibby. Or just Dibby. Or Darby Darbs. Or Dibby Dop. Or Dibs. Take your pick. All of the girls have a million nick names. Come to think of it, Jason does, too. Hmmm. And I have just one.

--She's a pro at sitting now.

--She's crawling! Not with her belly off the floor yet, but she's definitely getting around.

--She's a twirler. She loves to twirl her hands and feet. It might possibly be one of the cutest things ever. My favorite is when she's eating in the Bumbo. She'll hold her arms out and twirl

her little wrists and ankles around in circles. Then she'll pause for a bite, and then resume her twirling. Then repeat.

--She has her two bottom middle teeth.

--She is SO happy. She's always smiling and happy (and twirling) unless she's tired or hungry.

--Some nights she goes to bed at 5 and doesn't get up until after 7 in the morning. With one small exception...

--...That exception being that almost every morning at 4 she wakes up crying. I just go in her room and put her paci back in her mouth and she goes right to sleep. I should probably let her figure out how to go back to sleep on her own but I really don't want her waking the other girls up, not to mention keeping me awake.

--We are all completely in love with her, and she is such a joy in our lives.

I tried many times to get some videos up to show her twirling away, but for some reason it doesn't work. Hopefully soon I'll figure it out.
